Video: You Don't Always Die

I think we all needed a break from the Internet Explorer 7 topic so I thought it would be a good time for a BillP Public Service Ad.

I am a huge media junkie so I really can appreciate a commercial that I think will make a difference. Yes, I even TiVo the ads during the Superbowl.  I’ve never been a smoker so I don’t know what makes people quit but this video seems like it would make an impact.  It was created by the folks behind “TheTruth” campaign which has created some impressive ads. It has a great hook so give it a view.

I'm so impressed by this video! Not only is it extremely well-made, but it's effective without being too in-your-face. I truly admire the "cowboy" for being a part of something like this! Truth's best work so far!

Hi Bill
(off video topic) Were you asked to remove your blog post about WPP v10.0.5? I can't see it in the list any more? You know the CastleCops WP forum isn't kept as up to date as it used to, and your blog is a better first reference point.

Removed from the Blog or from CastleCaps? Nobody has asked me to remove anything that I can remember.

Paul and Robin did me a favor by adding a WinPatrol forum at CastleCops. I had high hopes to be more active but there's never enough time. I owe a lot to the folks who help out answering questions on their own there.

I have committed my time to this blog which is almost a year old now. It will remain a good source of WinPatrol news and as always any Emails to support@winpatrol.com will receive a personal response as quickly as possible.

They should release the song as a single. I'd buy it. They could donate the money.

I was quite impressed with this ad. It hits all the major generations! I watched it about 5 times - I felt the facial expressions were REAL and not fake. They saw something that really changed them. Now, what they choose to do with that "change within" is called CHARACTER. Sadly, something many of our leaders no longer have.
Does anyone know what the "infect' is all about on thetruth.com?

whoa! i am so impressed! in my health class we have to make a poster, to advertise non-smoking, and my group is using that song as a base idea! i am totally against and i think that this commerciall did a great job of tgetting the point that it wanted to get accross, without being extremely graphic.

I watched my grandfather go through that when I was kid. This is a very powerful commercial. Kudo's to the cowboy. This brings a whole new meaning to "TRUTH"
